Background

I began my practice of law in the Dallas County District Attorney's Office in 1982.  I was hired and trained by the Hon. Henry Wade, District Attorney (1951-1987).  I moved with my family to Cleburne, Johnson County, Texas and was Assistant District Attorney under the Hon. Dan Boulware from 1984 through 1995.  In 1995, I became an associate of Lummus, Hallman, Pritchard and Baker.  While with LHPB, I handled criminal, civil, bankruptcy, probate and family law cases.  In 2005, I opened my own general law practice, concentrating on Criminal Trial Law.  I was awarded my Board Certification in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in 1990.
