I am Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.     The Texas Board of Legal Specialization operates under the authority of the Supreme Court of Texas.   The Board certifies attorneys who have demonstrated special competence in a particular field of law.   To earn a certification in criminal law the attorney must have handled a wide variety of criminal law matters to demonstrate experience and involvement.  The attorney must be evaluated by fellow lawyers and judges.  He or she must have passed a written examination and must devote a minimum of 25% of his/her law practice to criminal law.  Each year a Board Certified Attorney must attend education seminars to keep his/her legal training up-to-date.  Every five years a Board Certified Attorney must qualify and apply for recertification.

Always choose a Board Certified Attorney in the area of law for which you seek legal advice.  Look for the Board Certified Logo.

Respected by judges, peers and courthouse staff for his integrity and legal expertise
